Dr. Franqui
General Chiropractic
Komoka, ON
Dr. Liz comes from a diverse background that she trusts has helped her greatly in her journey to becoming a chiropractor. Originally from New York, she has lived in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Florida before settling here in Ontario. When Liz was 2 years old, her mother took her to a chiropractor for the first time in hopes of alleviating her chronic ear infections. After that, many of her childhood years were spent in chiropractic offices where her mother worked. She and her twin brother spent numerous hours looking at spines and pestering the doctors. Many years and a lot less ear infections later, she was determined to go into a profession that helped people. Liz graduated from Philadelphia University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Textile Engineering, excited to develop innovative textile products that would help in the medical field. After several years and finding herself in an industry that wasn’t what she hoped for, she found herself in search of a new path where she could combine her passions of working with her hands, and helping people. A chance encounter led to an aha moment and everything fell into place. She attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida and graduated in the Fall of 2016. She moved to Ontario to do her preceptorship in London, and has been here ever since. In September 2021, Liz proudly opened her own wellness space, In Good Health! Dr. Liz is a Chiropractor and facilitator, empowering her patients to understand their patterns & behaviours so that they are better equipped to problem solve and be proactive about their health and healing process. She is passionate about connecting with her patients and feels it allows for a healing partnership to occur where you can work together to tailor a specific care plan that focuses on all aspects of health; physical, emotional, and spiritual. She holds space for others, listening and providing patient-centered care. Dr. Liz applies a mix of chiropractic techniques with each adjustment including Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator, along with soft tissue and energy work as needed. Although her family is down in Florida and she misses them (and the year round sun!) terribly, Liz loves living here and is excited to help her community reach their full health potential.
